🌱 Beginner-Friendly RP Events & Venues
These beginner-friendly roleplaying establishments may be great starting points for new roleplayers! Each listing is regularly scheduled and has openings every month. Please review the corresponding website for each listing to learn about their opening times. Many beginner-friendly places are not listed here so be sure to explore!
Notes
I’m New: Please inform a staff member using /tell that you are a new roleplayer and they’ll be more than happy to assist you in case you’re nervous!
Early-Bird: To ensure a quiet and more relaxed experience, it’s highly advised to visit a listing as soon as it opens.
/busy: Each listing allows you to use the /busy command if you wish to simply observe without being disturbed. You will not be able to receive /tell messages while this is active.
Gil: If a listing uses in-game tradeable items and gil for transactions for food and beverages, you are welcome to inform the owner in case you cannot afford any offerings. This excludes services like Tarot card readings.
RP Event/Venue Styles
In-Character RP: Staff and patrons will interact with each other IC most of the time to immerse themselves. Players will use (brackets) to indicate any OOC communication especially when providing you with assistance or answering any questions.
Mixed RP: The environment will have a mixture of conversations and roleplay that are in-character and out-of-character. Roleplaying rules are more relaxed and there may be patrons referencing the real world instead of being IC or heavily immersed.
